stuff khandavi idli


  • For khandavi....1/2 cup besan
  • 3/4 cup curd
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp haldi
  • 1/2" ginger crushed to a paste
  • 1 green chilly crushed to a paste
  • For stuffing..1/2 cup crumbled paneer
  • 3 potato mashed
  • 1tbsp peas
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil


First prepare stuffing for this heat oil in a pan and add masala and peas potato and paneer and roast it nicely

Take it out in a plate

Mix besan,curd and water well with a beater so that no lumps remain.

Add haldi,salt,ginger chilli paste

Cook the mixture till it is of quite thick consistency,stirring continuously,till the mixture turns thick

Remove from fire

Grease idli mould and pour half spoon batter in plate and put one small spoon stuffing on it and than cover it by pouring batter on it

Fill all the plates like this and pat the plate twice

Leave it for five mins and demould it nicely

Enjoy it with nariyal chutney
